Quick Update!!!

We've been keeping quite busy since the last post! Here's just a few things that have been taking place in our lives lately...

Ashley turned 28 years old on July 2nd. He got to enjoy his day celebrating with some friends at a cook-out at our house.

We enjoyed a big fireworks show at a local park with a bunch of friends.

My Granny (great-grandma) passed away. My mom, sister and I took a quick 2 day, 1 night trip to Kentucky to be there for the funeral.

Two days after I got back from Kentucky I went to work for the last time at MAP. I have been working there for the last 5 years and decided it was time for a change. They threw me a wonderful luncheon my last day.

The next morning I got on an airplane with my sister and headed to Florida for my cousins wedding.

After returning from Florida I took the next week off!!!! I stayed home and got some much needed housework done and some much needed sleep.

Saturday I ran in my second race. A five mile trail run at Canturbury Village. After the race we headed to Detroit and enjoyed a Tigers game with Dan and Katie.

To top it off...I enjoyed my first day at my new job at our church and then we went and helped our friends move into their first home.

That's all I have for now but check back in later. Softball is coming to an end for the year with the Sweet Sixteen and we will find out shortly whether we will be getting a neice or nephew in December :)

We finally joined the blogging world! I'm so glad that you started at the church - I hope it's going well! I can't wait to hear what you will be having either - a little niece or nephew!
