3 Months Old

Our little pumkin is 3 months old! It really seems so crazy how quickly time is goingby. She amazes us daily with new little tricks and cuteness. Just tonight after getting a bath she did a loud belly laugh that just tickled us so much. She has become full of coos and smiles that just make us melt.

We don't go back to the doctor's till she's 4 months old but according to our scale we think she's around 12 pounds. She still is our little petite girl but is managing to get some wonderful chubby rolls.

We love to hear her "talk" to her little animals that hang from her carseat and also the little toys hanging from her play gym. She has discovered her hands and loves to suck on them. She has even begun to grab ahold of her little toys. She really wants to sit up and works so hard at it daily. She has her mommy and daddy's skill of sleeping (but takes forever to wake up) and is a great eater...and lets us know when she is hungry!

She is such a sweet little blessing to our family!

Good Fellas

The first picture was taken just three short years ago. Pictured left to right is Keith, Brett, Dave and myself.

A lot can happen in three years!!!
-Keith met and married his wife Natalie. They just had a beautiful baby girl this past year. Keith grew a beard and moved to Tennessee.
-Brett was reunited with Erica, who he's known since the 5th grade, and they got married. They live just north of the Upper Peninsula and are active members at RCoC.
-Dave, who was married at the time of the first picture, gave up disco dancing (come on...look at that shirt!!!). Dave is part owner of a successful web site.
-Me, who was married at the time of the first picture, also had a beautiful baby girl this past year. I've also had three employers in this time period.

Oh yeah, and all of us have put on a "few" pounds!

I was fortunate enough to work with Brett and Keith for about a year. Every day we'd eat our lunch as we complained about our jobs. Since then we've all moved on. Me to printing, Brett to outside sales and Keith to a red neck (just kidding - he's a General Contractor building some amazing subdivisions).

Dave, my cousin, has been my BFF well before that phrase ever existed. When I was 3 years old I was informed he and his family were moving to Texas. Upon hearing the news I charged down to their house (it was next door) and gave my aunt and uncle a piece of my mind. Fortunately for me, they returned when we were in high school. Dave and I were roommates at Rochester College.

It's fun looking back, telling stories of years past and realizing how silly we all were...ok still are.

Holiday Recap

Now that the Holiday's are over we finally have a second to catch our breath and post some pictures. It all started with a family party, Christmas with Kelly's family and then my family, Ella's favorite QB going 16-0, Ella's first New Years Eve and ended with a downed tree. It was a great Holiday season and we were truly blessed to have family and friends near by.

Ella is getting bigger, more responsive and of course more beautiful each day. Just last night she laughed for the first time. I was changing her and she let out a glorious giggle. Kelly who was in the other room heard it as well. She quickly grabbed the camera to document such a momentous occasion but Ella didn't feel like cooperating.

We pray all of you have a good start to 2008.
Ash, Kel & Ella
