60 Days!

It's hard to believe that our due date is in 60 days!! We've got exactly two months left to prepare ourselves to be parents. Crazy! Things are continuing to go well though and moving forward. I'm still feeling really good and enjoying the pregnancy (even in this 90 degree weather). It still amazes me that there is human life inside of me. She constantly reminds me though by trying to stick her head through my belly and creating a visible little bump on my stomach. Ashley and I enjoy seeing her move all around inside my belly and continue to be impressed by how much she moves and how much we can actually see her moving around. It's got to be getting a little cramped in there.

We are in full swing of getting the baby nursery together. Paint is on the walls and my dad is hard at work doing some wood work to the room, putting in a new closet and hanging some much needed new doors. We are so excited to see the room finished and ready for our baby girl. It is really beginning to feel real and seems to be creeping up on us quickly. For now Ashley and I will continue to prepare our home for this new addition and take every opportunity we get to share in the last couple months of it just being the two of us in our family.

We continue to appreciate all the support and prayers from our family and friends!

Breaking in a New Rider

A couple weeks back Dave Ut and I took our worship minister out mountain biking. Below are some pictures of the highs and lows of the ride...

Here's Chris enjoying his first taste of singletrack

Chris, standing on the highest point in Macomb County!

Chris enjoying another aspect of mountain biking...the first ride of the year pukes

All in all Chris did a great job riding! He says he'll be back...I hope so!
