9 Months

Wow! It is crazy to think that our little pumpkin is already 9 months old. Just today I told Ashley how crazy it is to watch her play and move all around when just a few shorts months ago she was this little baby that I could just lay on the couch. It has been so much fun to watch her learn and explore and get so excited of her own new accomplishments.

She is still a little peanut, weighing in at 18lbs. 12 oz. and measuring 27.5 inches long. For her lack of size she makes up for it in her huge personality and energy.

Lately Ella...

...has been working on her little motor skills by trying to eat little bits of table foods. She still has yet to cut a tooth.

...has joined the world of big girl carseats.

...has picked up her speed of crawling and now is quite the pro of cruising around furniture.

...enjoys walking behind her walking toys and looks at us with a big grin as she does it. She is SO proud of herself:)

...is eating lots and sleeping lots! I think we may be in a growth spurt.

...enjoys playing peek-a-boo, pat-a-cake, and giggles uncontrolable when we act like we are going to get her.

I know I'm repeating myself but it has been so cool to watch her learn new things. She occasionally will wave hi and bye and has even gotten good at giving kisses. We've been working with her to try to say Mama and Dada a lot lately but she hasn't done it yet. Today she actually made the "da" sound so at least we are getting somewhere. She is absolutely precious and lights up every day for us!

Taking a bath with cousin Trent after a fun evening at the park. Such modest children covering themselves up:)

First trip to the zoo!

This was awesome! A polar bear just a couple feet above our heads.

Ella and Tessa playing together. They are only 2 days apart from each other.

First time in her big girl carseat!

Ashley's brother and his family just gave us a couple of their big baby items to borrow. We are so excited to use them! I'm hoping it will get us out exercising more:)

Ella and Valor were going for a ride together while Ash tested out the jogging stroller.

Testing out the baby backpack.

The following is a little video Ash put together of Ella "doing her thing" around the house lately.

Ashley...maybe I DO have a man-crush on my boy...but you will be jealous when I learn all of his secrets. Next year I will be the lead-off hitter for our team and I will be turning hits to first base into triples! JEALOUS!
