what she really needs is a tigers outift! (prefferably maybe one with magglio's number on it) I will have to keep my eye out....
Poor child! Poor, poor child. Having to grow up in a household that follows such a team. I will have to spend many hours retraining her brain to the Green and White...especially after this football season!!!

I see that "anonymous" left a comment about MSU...but they are too scared to take credit for their words. ;-) Must be because UofM MIGHT be the fifth team in the Big Ten this year...if they are lucky.

Dan, the beauty of UofM is even a bad year usually gets them to a New Years Day bowl (reference this past season). The only bowl MSU get's on their bad year is the toilet bowl after a night of binge drinking and couch burning.

I'm sorry...I can't compete with the Toilet Bowl. It is too glamorous and prestigious. I guess making it to the NCAA Tourney and consistently into the Final 4, Elite 8 is all the success we can handle. Maybe we can try out the NIT sometime...kinda like the football team is going to do this year. Did they schedule App. State again...or pay them off to avoid the game?

Your a true Spartie Dan! Sparties always bring up basketball when talking about football.
As for the App State game...that was a no win situation. If they didn't win by 60 they'd been made fun of. If they lose they'd be made fun of.
Did they play bad? Yes! Luckily the game was on the Big Ten Network and I didn't have to watch it.

I would be careful about making light of the App. State/UofM game, because I know you as a big MSU basketball fan don't want to be reminded of the pounding that Grand Valley State (yes, the division 2 school in MI) put on your Spartans!
As far as that NCAA tourney success you speak of...I am pretty certain that going into this year the mighty Spartans have had THREE first round exits in the last six years!
Now I just want the last word on this blogging strand. So here it is.
